ok I'm going on a three-week detox during which I will become suffused with energy and glowing like Gwyneth Paltrow. Anyone coming?

I really ought to join you. Have just got dh to stick a pizza in the oven after we decided a dominos was too greedy seeing as we only had tea 3 hours ago. Not sure I am a good candidate! What's the book called...

in the first week for breakfast I can have this muesli with rice or soya milk and then a banana and also some live yogurt with honey

or eggs on wheat free bread

and then for a snakc I can have some carrots and raw green things

and soup for lunch (recipes provided)

and some wheatfree biscuits or hummus if starving

and then for tea and I can have some grilled something or other

I can't have beer

I can't have dairy

I am hoping that I can't have thrush either I am pigging sick of thrush which is the whole reason for the experiment

acidic drinks eg orange, grapefruit juce, apple juce
alcohol
all fruit/ fruit juices except ripe bananas
baked beans, pizza [hard stare], processed foods, fried and spicy foods
low fat yogurts and reduced fat foods
bread/wheat and gluetn products, pasta
dairy foods
fizzy drinks
potatoes, aubergines, mushrooms, cucumbers, courgettes, tomatoes, peppers
red meat
shellfish
sugar, chocolates, cakes and biscuits etc
ketchup, vinegar, mustard, chutneys, sauces
yeast and yeast products (no marmite)

bizarrely there are some foods left to eat after all that lot

buffalo mozzarella (occasionally)
dark green ve
eggs 3-4 times a week max
fish
veg juices
veg soups
gluten-free oatmeal with rice milk or water
gluten/wheat free breads and cereals
goats chees, ricotta, cottage cheese
honey
live yogurt
olive oil
pulses/lentils/chickpeas
salads (no tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, etc as they are nightshade foods) and steamed veg
soya and tofu products
soya milk, rice milk, goats milk
white meat
