Had a seizure!

Hi all,
Had anybody ever had a seizure?
I am 32 and do not have epilepsy however on Thursday morning I had a large seizure in front of my kids! Followed by two little ones at hospital!

I have not had anything since but I'm terrified! I can't be alone with my baby who is 1 because I don't know why it happened and until my app at the clinic I won't know!

I suppose I'm just looking for some support!

Oh gosh - I guess you need to wait for further tests. Don't panic too much right now.

I would push for an MRI asap, did they do a CT on admission to ED?
Have you had the advice of no swimming/baths unsupervised/driving

I had MRI, CT and a battery of other tests but they can't pin point what caused it! Yeah I have been advised to follow all the safety protocols.
Evidently there is congestion in an area of my brain

Are you on tramadol?

I have been after surgery?

If you were still on tramadol at the time of the seizure I would co wider that. It lowers the seizure threshold level and makes you much more prone to them
