sore spots under arms

I'm getting loads of sore spots under my arms. Look like the kind you get on your face, but maybe a bit bigger. Red with yellow heads. They're really sore.

Any ideas how to treat them or what causes them?

Are they in your armpit? Do you shave?

Don't freak out. I had it quite badly in my groin and stopped waxing/epilating washed with hibiscrub for a while and it sorted it.

There are lots of people who have it quite badly on forums so reading can make you think everyone's is like that, but I think more likely people get it much more mildly and don't realise.

Worth a trip to your GP, although they don't seem to know much about it. Also may just be ingrown hairs if you've changed hair removal method or something?

Oh had this a while ago. Eventually realised it was a reaction to the deodorant I was using. It was Sure Maximum, the 24 hour one you apply at night. I’d been using it for years so no idea why it suddenly turned on me. Weird.

They appear whether or not I shave. I don't think they're on hair follicles as they on a wider area than the hair. Right down to my bra.

Same as PP. Realised it was the deodorant I was using.
