I had my tonsils out in January as i constantly used to get tonsilitus and since then i have't had any problems with my throat, until 2 days ago when i started to get a sore throat again.
i feel fine in myself so thought maybe it was hayfever or something but yesterday it got progressively worse and even painkillers didnt help and i was awake all night last night.
I have noticed that the back of my throat is red but on the back wall there are raised red bumps.
I'm not sure if it is worth going to the doctors as like i said i feel fine in myself just everytime i swallow feels like im swallowing razor blades.
i know there are lots of bugs around at mo so dont want to be wasting the docs time if its a fairly normal occurrance
