I've got a painful kindey infection now...........

Im feeling rotten and pretty sorry for myself this morning.....I went to the doctors last night (just about managed it) and now I have got an awful kidney infection. Its very painful. I had kidney stones 2 years ago and they were terrible, I thought it was those coming back. I hope it doesnt develop into them!! So I am laying in the sofa with my laptop on my knee being lazy! Can tell its friday the 13th hey???

Titania - I feel very sorry for you too! I had a kidney infection the other week and I felt terrible. I still had to look after DD (5) and DS (2) as there was no-one else to help. It took me about 5 days to start feeling better. I must have been bad to stay in the house for 5 days! I hope you are feeling better soon.

you have my full sympathy. I also had kidney infection about 8 years ago and I can still remember how awful I felt. You'll need lots of tlc this weekend me thinks. Will that be possible?

yeah DH has been great. Offered to stay at home today but as he had already had mon and tues off this week, I said he should go in otherwise we wont have any money this week!!!! He said he will bath the kids for me later and cook tea...not that i feel like eating though. He said he will take the kids out at the weekend so i can rest

I'm glad your DH is helping out! I had one earlier this year (not as bad as yours) and really feel for you. Hope you feel better soon!

Titania - lots of sympathy! I am just out of hospital as I had serious kidney infection and I am a long term sufferer of kidney stones ('nice' to meet someone else who has had them - nothing is like it!!).
Hope you have the antibiotics and are drinking lots (of water )
