red blotches on dd's eyebrows have suddenly appeared..........should I be worried?

Today when I got DD up from her lunchtime nap I noticed two bright red patches just above her eyebrows, about 3/4 inch diameter. They look a bit like the stork marks on the back of her neck (but much bigger) they have just appeared today (she is 8 months old next week). Should I be worried? I'm evidently not too worried as I'm posting on here instead of rushing her to hospital (and it happened about 6 hours ago). They've stayed all day and were still going strong when I put her down for the night.

Could it just be an odd rash for no reason or has anyone ever heard of/ seen this before?

It's worth phoning NHS direct or your GP....they'll give you advice over the phone and say whether she needs to be seen. Have you tried holding a glass against them and do they go away? (They'll probably ask you on the phone!).
