Slight pain in chest

I've noticed lately a pain when I'm breathing in and out kind of like a pain you get when you have a cough. Sort of a raspy feeling if that makes sense. It's not a sharp pain or anything but I don't have a cold or a cough. Any ideas? It's only a little bit pain full but more uncomfortable really.

Do you get it at the front and/or the back? It could be a pulled muscle or it could also be a small lung collapse, some of which can heal without any treatment.

How long have you had it?

I've had a couple of days. I had thought maybe muscle as I got a new mattress a few months ago whichI can't get used to and sometimes wake aching. It's only in the front quite high up.

It's probably intercostal muscle strain.
