Need to rant - have candida, adrenal stress and underactive thyroid

It is a nightmare.

I have to go on a strict anti candida diet and take suppliments - one months supply has just cost me £240!

The doctor is dealing with the thyroid problem - seeing a nutritional therapist for the rest.

Naybody have any experience of candida and adrenal stress?

thanks

wow what supplements are you taking??

Who has told you that you have to take supplements costing so much? Candida should be controllable by diet alone, you shouldn't need to spend £240 a month on supplements.

I am taking:

wholly immune
livotrit - for my liver
beta tcp - so support bile function (?)
biodophilus - to replace good bacteria
optimal EFA - repair gut wall
Vitamin C
Stabilium - For adrenal glands
Cytozyme - adrenal glands

I think a lot of the drugs are for my gland problem and because I am in such a bloody unhealthy way.

It is all so daunting. At the moment I am drinking over 10 cups of tea a day - got to try and cut this out urgently to start the diet

So who suggested the supplements? Your GP? or the Nutrional Therapist?

I would expect the GP to be dealing with your adrenal issue along with the thyroid
