Perianal abscess wound leaking help

I had a superficial perianal abscess removed 6 weeks ago and it had been healing fine until the last few days where the wound felt sore again but not infected like before and now it's leaking a tiny bit of yellow fluid and blood I am worried sick I go to Greece on Sunday.
We was supposed to be in Florida 6 weeks ago when I was rushed in for emergency surgery so I'm very anxious it's happening again. Does anyone have any experience with this I am going to see the doctor in the morning to see if I need some antibiotics

I had an abscess in my perineum and it was operated on and did not heal. It was operated on again but not as an emergency - about a mnth after my check up. It came back again nce but burst itself and then healed. Have never had it again.

You won't have an emergency op. You will be able to go on holiday I would think. The fact that it is leaking means it will not need an emergency op. You will probably get antibiotics.

Oh gosh I hope so, thanks for replying. Mine was superficial i only had packing for the first 24hours. I never want to go through it again. The whole situation was just so traumatic for me.

get some antibiotics and check with your travel insurance - most Greek hotels have 24 hour doctors on call (and there often) but they are expensive

We have free insurance covered by the bank but I have taken out a special one for me alone to cover my recent illnesses I have the doctors at 9:30 this morning so fingers crossed

Hi im ok, she thinks it has just flared up a little but no sign of abscess reforming so has given me antibiotics and I'm feeling much better now it's a lot less sore
