chocolatebirdy · 26/05/2007 01:00

LOL mama so did i!!!

nanninurse · 27/05/2007 22:27

bump..

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 22:31

LOL, I have posted elsewhere that I won't be selling for as long as this offer is running, as this is cheaper than the wholesale price I can get

My only aim with selling them is to pass on the discounts I can get to other MNers so I am glad to be undercut

This is a great offer and I hope they continue it for a long period. Go for it, chaps

DumbledoresGirl · 27/05/2007 22:34

Can I ask a quick mooncup question? If you can keep mooncups in for longer than tampons, don't you have problems with cystitis? Years ago I learnt that I have to change tampons whenever I use the toilet or risk getting cystitis.

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 22:41

Well, I haven't had that problem or heard of anyone having that problem, DG

I know there isn't a risk of TS as there is with tampons

If you did find it exacerbated cystitis, I suppose you could empty it more frequently as you do with your tampons?

DumbledoresGirl · 27/05/2007 22:47

Oh OK, just wondered. I might be the only person who has that problem with tampons! TBH, after years of using them, I am now back to using towels half the time.

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 22:48

I don't know DG, I haven't heard it before I don't think. Someone else may come along and enlighten us

DumbledoresGirl · 27/05/2007 22:51

Thinking about it, I don't think a mooncup would be the answer to my problem. As I see it, my problem arises because the tampon is in the vagina and somehow impeding the flow of urine, hence there is a degree of urine retention leading to infection. Well, a mooncup would have the same affect wouldn't it?
Sorry, just thinking out loud...

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 23:17

Erm

I don't know, how could the tampon be impeding the flow of urine?

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 23:17

Erm

I don't know, how could the tampon be impeding the flow of urine?

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 23:17

that keeps happening to me today, sorry

Aitch · 27/05/2007 23:22

i don't think so, dg. what i feel about the mooncup versus the tampon is that the mooncup is catching the blood, full stop, nothing else. a tampon, otoh, is absorbing anything and eveyrhting it can gets its mitts on, it doesn't care. i'm not sure about urine, per se, but i have found much less cramping which i personally attribute to the fact that it doesn't, er, dessicate the entire area.

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 23:24

Oh Aitch, while you are here, I am in a position to be Looking For Mucus and erm, I'm not seeing any

Aitch · 27/05/2007 23:27

so you're saying that you are ovulating? or are you being crude about the fact that you have a cold?

FrannyandZooey · 27/05/2007 23:33

nope nope nope

am menstruating

you said there would be mucus

you said

Aitch · 27/05/2007 23:35

oh yes, that's right. i only get the mucus in the middle of my period, but it's deffo there. poor you, a nasty cold and your period, that's a double whammy.

Boco · 27/05/2007 23:38

Ooooh, i just ordered one!

I'm a little afraid, will it be ok? It's not uncomfortable is it? Will i be able to put it in and get it out ok? Is it easy?

Sorry for eavesdropping - why are you having menstrual mucus?

Aitch · 27/05/2007 23:41

they are fabulous, boco, you'll be fine. as regards the mucus... you'll find out soon enough, lady.

Boco · 27/05/2007 23:44

Oh should i have read about the mucus before making the switch card payment - i didn't read about any mucus?!
