Can anyone identify this rash?

Hopefully the photo attaches, sorry it’s a rubbish one. This rash is reoccurring - I’ve been getting it once a month since April. The first time I noticed it, early April, it was on my left thigh. Faded by the end of the month only to reappear early May under my boob. That one faded end of May, lo and behold it has reappeared again, this time on my upper right thigh. Confused

Spots are red-purplish in colour and the spots are never raised or develop into squeezable lumps iykwim, they’re just... there. It’s never spread AFAIK, and isn’t constantly itchy, only the odd niggle. There’s always been a large cluster of spots, and they all fade at once.

Haven’t changed washing detergent, shower gel etc, so just puzzled as to what it could be and why, near enough on the dot, it fades and reappears each month. Does anyone have any guesses? I have Googled but never got any results - MN is my last resort.

Can anyone identify this rash?

They look a bit like petechiae. There's lots of causes but you might be best of speaking to a GP.

Looks and sounds more like bruising to me...skin being pinched between you and your bra wire, perhaps?

Thanks both for your input :) Cherry that’s a new one! Haven’t booked GP appointment yet as it’s not really worrying me but if it carries on I will be Confused
@WantingMuchMore I never thought of that! Could be, but then I don’t understand why I’d get it on my upper thighs too. I wear a lot of tight skinny jeans though, could that be why?

If it was just on your legs I would have guessed possible folliculitis from shaving but it's odd that it's on your chest too. Weird that it keeps coming and going. Could it be some kind of contact dermatitis from something? You could have developed a sensitivity to something you used previously.
