Painful bladder/tummy/groin area...

Sorry added a title now...

My bladder hurts. ALL the time. Or at least I think it's my bladder. It's in that area, could be my ovaries though as it stretches all the way accross the inside of my lower tummy/groin area. Feels like I have been holding a wee for hours, that sort of pain. I have been weeing a bit more than normal but they're good long ones not a pointless little teaspoonful so don't think my bladder is irritated as such. Think I've had cystitis before but it didn't feel like this, it was more like needing to go to the loo all the time and then a burn when I finally eked out a millidrop.

Any ideas? DO I need cranberry juice or a trip to the GP? Or shooting

Get down to the bottom of the garden. I'll go get my gun

Can't really help, Tatat. Just bumping your post ... but if it carries on/or has carried on for longer than a day or two, I'd certainly go to the GPs.

Thanks rabbleraiser I am donning my blindfold as I type...

As a veteran of cystitis, I would say it could still be cystitis even though the symptoms aren't quite what you experienced last time. If I were you, I would collect a sample of wee in a clean container and take it down to the GPs for analysis.

I reckon if you went to the GP, they would test your urine anyway, even if only to eliminate the chance of an infection, so you might as well take the sample along.
