Yeah you are right xx i suffer extreme health anxiety and depression. I struggle to sleep ever since i found out i had erosion. You had ectropion and nearly 40 years later you didnt get cervical cancer. I need to let go i know thanks for your reply xx

Work on your anxiety and depression otherwise you will transfer all those thought to the next issue you experience.

Bear in mind we don't 'get' cervical cancer (usually.) If you keep up to date with your smears, they pick up pre-cancerous changes which are treated. The very few women who do get CC have often not had smears, ignored symptoms and waited too long for treatment. (And yes I know some women get caught out between the 3 year smear test but it's rare.)

Yeah you are right. Im starting tablet for anxiety depression. Im nervous as i have another colposcopy in few weeks.
Can i just ask what were your symptoms of ectropion and did you have any treatment for it. I dont know wether to have treatment they said its up to me xx

I'm 70 and had one cauterised 40 years ago. I had another 3 children after that and no recurrence, no after-effects at all.
