It's long, sorry!
On March 10th I came back from China (flew economy if that matters) and I had a 12hr bout of stomach flu which basically made me unconscious for the night and the morning with really high fever.. No one else I had contact with had this.
Slippery slope since then, I had infection after infection with a non- productive cough. Codeine does not touch it. I had a course of antibiotics for sinusitis and strep throat which cleared. However a horrendous pain started on the right hand side below my shoulder blade and in the front (same side, same place as the back more or less. Doctors keep telling me to wait few weeks and I had a chest x-ray which came back clear.
I have an on and off fever - currently 39,5-40 degrees since Friday.
My daughter started going to creche around the same time I was back and she currently has the same symptoms (i.e. unexplained high fever).
We're on holidays and very few people speak English here and we're here for another two weeks. Daughter is being investigated for urinary tract infection.
She fell sick on holidays, one day before me.
