Can I drink alcohol whilst taking Cefalexin antibiotics

It's been a hard day and I would really like a G&T but am a single parent and can't risk a ton of side effects so does anyone know if one or 2 will kill me!

one or 2 will be fine
metronidazole is the one you cannot drink any alcohol with

thanks so much, not meaning to be rude but are you really sure? It's just that I was on a different antibiotic and had such bad side effects I was bed bound for 3 days and I just can't risk it!

you can never be 100% sure but cefalexin is not like metronidazole which has dangerous side effects if mixed with alcohol.
Cefalexin may not work quite as well if you drink a few drinks (liver enzymes induced so break down the drug quicker) but shouldn't have horrible consequences.
That said, you can never be 100% sure, so if you are worried, just avoid the booze
