Hello. Can anyone tell me if this minor surgical snip carries any negative side effects in terms of tongue mobility?

Thank you.

My grandson had it done and he has had no issues with talking or eating.

I had mine done as a teenager and no issues

My DD had one. No negative effects.

Confused it creates tongue mobility.

Agree with @RandomMess - DS was able to make a lot more noises and feed better after having it done.

My son did not have it done. He has had difficulty eating and with saying some sounds. Doctors and dentists have always assured me it is not the tongue tie causing the problems. Even when I tried to get it done privately. If I could have found a doctor w no would have snipped it when he was little I would definitely have got it done. Ds has a fine motor difficult which I guess may be the cause of the problems and not the tongue tie but I don't really know for sure.
