Secondly TMI warning before you read on!
OK. I have been having heavy vaginal discharge for the last couple of months. It is an odd yellow/green colour, it does smell but not an offensive smell if that makes sense? I am going through 3-4 panty liners a day. It can be a very dark colour at times.
I went to the GP and she didn't seem too concerned but took a swab. I have another appointment in a couple of weeks time to find out the results.
I've recently had a normal smear test. I'm 43 and on the pill. I think I may be in the peri menopause due to a few factors, and so my hormones may well be doing strange things.
So while I am waiting for my follow up appointment I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this? I'm wondering what the underlying cause could be, if any
