Is there anything that works to get rid of psoriasis patches? Or, at any rate, make them look better. I've got patches all over my legs and they're really pissing me off as I feel so self conscious about anyone seeing them.

I know this very late, but have you had a referral to a dermatologist? Things that help me is using sulfate free and alcohol free products on my skin to reduce irritation, gentle moisturisers (I use Child’s Farm), getting sunshine (yes, potentially embarrassing if you feel your patches are noticeable), natural fabrics (too much polyester etc makes my skin sweat and causes extra irritation), taking vitamin D supplements, and medication. Dovebet doesn’t work for me, but could do for you. There’s various treatments, including methotrexate and humira, but you need a decent dermatologist to identify what’s best for you.
