Lactic acid type feeling all the time

Hello, Just wondering if anyone might have suffered with what I’m feeling at the minute, slightest bit of extertion ie walking up the stairs for instance gives me that lactic acid burn that you get when you’ve been doing intense exercise. Has anyone ever had this? No other symptoms just feeling quite unmotivated and fatigued. I’m slightly overweight but nothing drastic (11st and I’m 5ft 4).

I get this, but I've got me/cfs and fibromyalgia.

How old are you? Have you had a virus recently? Are you out of breath walking up the stairs?

Thanks for replying, I’m 33. I’m not really out of breath up the stairs maybe slightly if I ran up them. Not had a virus recently no, my little ones have had a cough and cold in the last few weeks.

I was getting this and it ended up that I was extremely low in vitamin D. Doctor put me on high supplements and it has gone.

It could be claudication, I'd speak to the gp and they may refer you to the vascular nurse.

Thanks for the replies, I had very low vit d after the birth of my son so that may have returned. Perhaps I will book an pooinent with gp, claudication sounds very scary

I had this after a virus called CMV. I was quite ill with it, but I think you can have it (and you may be particularly likely to get it if you have young DC) and not have very noticeable symptoms.

Mine passed with no treatment but it took a long time to get over the after effects. Probably about 4 months of that severe fatigue feeling. I tried to make resting in the afternoon a priority while my youngest napped. If possible, don't ignore it and don't try to push through that feeling.
