Deodorant recommendation needed!

Hi! I don't know whether health is exactly the right category for this, but I don't know what else would be!

I wonder whether anyone could recommend a good unscented antiperspirant roll-on deodorant, please? I used to use Simple but it stopped being effective, so I switched to Mitchum, which was brilliant - totally effective for over 24 hours! But after nearly a year of using it, it's much less effective, so I guess I need to switch again. I've tried Mum in the past but got fed up with the fact that the roller mechanism often doesn't work.

If anyone has any recommendations of ones that work and ideally don't stain clothes, that would be great!

Thank you!!

I’m going to suggest sticking to the Mitchum and washing with some soap instead of shower gel. Now the soaps you want to use aren’t the ones in the supermarket. Visit tkmax and buy some f

I agree with strong switching to soap made a big difference to me but if you want to try something else I'd suggest trying petrol I loved it and found it very efficient

holdmybeer · 24/05/2018 18:22

Damn auto correct DO NOT use petrol!! Shock
But maybe try Pitrok!!

clownfaces · 24/05/2018 18:23

Sure Max. Similar to a roll on is very good. It is expensive though (approx £5) but keeps me dry and you can scented or unscented.

clownfaces · 24/05/2018 18:23

*get

Ridingthegravytrain · 24/05/2018 18:53

Petrol would certainly hide any smells Grin

I’ve found pitrok surprisingly good too

JessicaCH · 24/05/2018 20:17

Thanks! Is Pitrok just anti-smell or does it prevent sweating as well?

I use Perspirex. Expensive but doesn't need using every day so works out about the same. I sweat a LOT though do you may not need it.

If you do go for it use a moisturiner/moisturising deodorant in the morning as your skin can dry out. And start with the sensitive one as it will sting like crazy until it has built up - sensitive is less painful!

holdmybeer · 24/05/2018 21:33

Hmm I'm not sure if it is an antiperspirant but I am a sweaty person and found it to be effective at making me not be smelly Grin

I've actually switched to the mitchum gel for the moment though as I couldn't get to boots and wanted something I could pick up at the supermarket.

I use the Right guard solid stick (white one) as spray makes me gag.

Also use the Lush solid deodorant that works really well.

Vitalogy · 24/05/2018 21:46

Soft and Gentle pink roll on is nice.

Bluesheep8 · 26/05/2018 07:51

Another recommendation for sure max. It's a twist up cream one and you're supposed to apply at night although I use it in the morning. I get wet patches under my arms which show on clothes and this stops that happening.

Triple dry from boots is incredible

babywipessolveanything · 26/05/2018 08:04

Another vote for Triple Dry.

Watching with interest... I use the Mitchum cream... the one in box for £5. Better than the stick
