My 9 week old had his 8 week jabs at 1 yesterday and had calpol straight away, was absolutely fine laughing and playing as normal. Fell asleep on his dad for an hour and when he woke up needed more calpol but spat it out so needed to wait til 11. He was so unsettled! His temperature went up to 38 I was worried but my oh is a medic and we got his temp down bit at a time by cooling the room, stripping down to nappy etc. He eventually fell asleep after calpol for 2 hours, woke up smiling. Put him in bed after his next calpol with normal temp and he was inconsolable for an hour! Would only settle in bed with me (safe co sleeping) and breastfeeding. Today his temperature has still been perfect but he’s so sleepy and when he’s awake unsettled today! He seems to have a belly ache and had a few explosive poos too.
