can you recommend anything that'll give me a boost?

Just wondered if anyone could recommend anything that'd give me a bit of a boost; I'm fed up, exhausted and tearful, and worried I'm going to end up with depression, which i have suffered from before. I have an 8 month old dd and have recently gone back to work full time, which i realise probably accounts for the tiredness, even though i'm sleeping more than ever now dd is sleeping through.
I guess I was wondering if there was anything like St John's Wort that could boost my mood? i cant take that as i'm on the Pill and I'm pretty sure it's contraindicated.
any ideas would be very gratefully received. TIA.

Hi olivo, I'm sure it is tiredness. When I feel run down I take Pharmaton vitamins for about 2 weeks (one a day). They really help but don't take them on an empty stomach - have one just after breakfast. They're available at Boots.

thanks for your ideas. my diet has been worse than usual since i went back to work; by the time i get dd to bed, i just cant be bothered to cook, so unless dh does it, i eat whatever.
have tried Kalms in the past, might be worth another go. will also suss out the pharmaton in boots this w/e. may have to wait a couple of weeks though if they are expensive as I'm skint and dont get paid till end of the month!

They are a bit pricey, but they do work. Have a good weekend and I hope you feel better soon. Sleep as much as you can! Keep an eye on your iron levels if you aren't eating properly - you could be anaemic which makes you feel washed-out and terrible

thanks edie, had actually wondered about being anaemic as i'm a veggie too. again, cant go to the doctors till i get paid ( not in uk, have to pay!) to get a blood test.
Kitty - did st john's wort work for you?
