Treatment for piles?

Realised I'm probably better posting here as opposed to in 'pregnancy'

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and have one fairly small but fairly painful haemorrhoid. Anyone have any words of wisdom to get rid/treat?

I already know to drink a lot of water and eat lots of fibre. I've already been doing this but for some reason I still got one. Really sore and desperate to treat!

Thanks.

The best thing I tried was piles creams containing hydrocortisone but I’m not sure if you can use that in pregnancy. So for now regular anusol or germaloid cream regularly applied and ice! Wrap a cube in kitchen paper and wedge between bum...soothing and helps shrink.

@MissTulipan thank you! I'm in so much pain...

Suppositories are so much better than anything else and not difficult to use at all - they saved me after I'd given birth

@LemonBee can you remember which ones you used? There are so many!
