Not just growing a baby

Hi everyone.

I am 7 months pregnant and have a lovely little baby girl cooking but sadly she is growing along side two gross (big!!) dermoid cysts. One on each ovary. They picked them up at early emergency scan when we thought we were losing the baby and went in for severe pain and bleeding.

This was in December and they were measuring about 8/9cm in diameter each. I am due c section because of complications in last labour so they have decided to remove the growths at the same time this time around and have plonked me on a load of high prescription pain killers until then.

They are monitoring them and they have grown about 3cm since. They won’t know if I will lose the ovaries until I am on the table.

Does anyone have any experience with this at all?

Some days the pain is unbearable, some days it’s manageable but it is always there.

No experience here, but I just wanted to wish you and your baby well.

Take care. Smile

I had one cyst about 8cm also discovered at an early scan after bleeding. They left mine and just monitored it but did say that they would have removed if I needed a CS. They seemed very relaxed about it.
