Hypothyroidism?

Does anyone suffer from hypothyroidism?
If so what symptoms do you get from this?
Long story short not been 100% for a while and dr has referred me for a blood test to check my thyroid function.

Been getting the following (please bare with me as I'm sure most of them seem wishy washy and don't even link!)
Always tired (maybe due to having 4 and 2 year olds)
No 'get up and go'
Depression (mild)
Anxiety
Weight gain (maybe due to meds for anxiety?)
Always cold cannot bare it makes me want to cry.
Hair loss
Really dry skin
Night sweats

I know most of them can be linked so something else so a bit surprised dr suggested thyroid

It's absolutely great that your doctor has done the blood tests for low thyroid. I had all those symptoms you describe and didn't associate it with thyroid issues at the time. Had a barrage of tests from the GP and it was very low thyroid levels that was the issue. Straight away put on 100 micrograms of Levothyroxine and within a few months easily dropped a stone in weight, regained energy, skin and hair condition. Also started feeling much brighter in mood very quickly. If you do get the diagnosis, they will monitor you for the first few months to ensure you get the right level of medication. It is something that can be easily managed, so please don't worry.
