Thrush? Or not...

Saturday I started to feel sore and had a look in the mirror and it's very red, no discharge. I bought some thrush cream it's 1% now realise you and get 2% burnt when I applied it. Hurts when I wee and then wipe (have been patting!) got a Fluconazole (sp?) pill which I took 36hours ago and as yet no change! It's so sore. Anything else I can do? Never had this before so a bit clueless. Thanks!!

It could be a urine infection

I think you should see your GP or maybe see if you have a sexual health clinic near you, that might be faster. It could be thrush or it could be something else, and either way the treatments you’ve tried haven’t worked, so it needs looking at and sorting out.

Thanks managed to get into the GP for late afternoon. Thanks. I'm type 1 diabetic and prone to infections so poss that.
