I just wondered whether I should go to the doctors. I have PCOS and so even though I am 40 the gynae docs have kept me on the pill. When I wasn't on the pill, I had very erratic, extremely painful and extremely heavy/flooding periods. On the pill, they are more manageable with less pain and the heavy days, although still flooding/heavy etc it only lasts 2 - 3 days. They also tell me to tricycle so I have 3 packs of pills with no break, then a period.
I had an operation in late October (gallbladder removed) and the periods have been weird since 🤔 I have only had 3, one in November, one in February and one just - they have all been extremely light, to the point that I havent really needed to use tampax, just spotting really. I have had quite ouchy period pains but nothing else 😳
I am a bit of a worrier so know my initial reaction to want to go and tell the doctor may be over the top. Wondering if it would be anything to do with the stress of the operation 🤔
