Rotavirus vaccine causing diarrhoea?

DD had her first lot of immunisations last Wednesday, including the oral rotavirus vaccine. She pooed normally on friday after not pooing for 4 days (can be normal for her) but since Saturday morning shes pooed at least every feed and sometimes in between feeds, and 8/10 times its like yellow water. She seems to have tummy ache at times with it but is otherwise well, no vomiting or temperature.
Anyone know if this could be from the rotavirus vaccine? I was told by the nurse that the vaccine passes out through the poo as it is an oral vaccine and to be extra vigilant with handwashing but she never said to expect diarrhoea

I recall my ds getting an upset tummy too. I believe it can happen.

Yeah, it's a common side effect unfortunately Flowers

Yes as it's a live vaccine, so they are given as little of the virus.
Just be careful cleaning up and keep an eye on your little one for dehydration

Thanks, its good to know its the vaccine and nothing more chronic! She's still nice and hydrated so hopefully it'll be cleared up in a couple of days Flowers

She has had tiny streaks of blood in her poo today? Even though it's watery she does seem to be straining so thought maybe it could be from that. Going to call HV tomorrow to check but anyone else had a bit of blood in the poo?

My ds had really bad diarroeah after his rotavirus immunisation. No blood in it but he had horrendous nappy rash.
