DS is 4.5 and yesterday afternoon he starting scratching his tummy and we found 3 little red spots. Later discovered another just below his pant line.
I've kept him off nursery today as precaution. BUT - the spots haven't changed. No more appeared. No puss filled blisters. And he's perfectly normal behaviour and doesn't seem ill.
How long do the spots take to appear? Blister etc?
Even if he has a mild case I obviously can't send him back to nursery. But if the spots don't scab do I assume it's not Chicken Pox and send him back?! I don't want to keep him off for a week just because of heat rash or something!
