Anyone know what this could be?

Sorry for unshaven leg but I'm trying not to irritate it and shaving would do that!

I've had it for about 4 or 5 weeks. Tried sudocrem which did nothing so went to GP and she said to use hydrocortisone. That is also not working.

It's now started in a couple of small patches on the other leg too (not as big though).

Anyone any ideas before I can get another appointment next week? Any over the counter things I could try? It's only itchy when I'm hot but going on holiday in a few weeks and it looks awful!

Anyone know what this could be?

I'd have said ringworm. Try an antifungal cream.

Oh didn't think of ringworm. I guess that would explain why it's starting on the other leg too.

I have got some canesten cream so will give that a go, thanks.

Hope it works and clears up in time for your holiday Smile

Definitely looks like ringworm to me.

I had a rash like that in my armpit a while ago, nothing shifted it apart from an antifungal.

Granuloma?

Ohyesiam · 12/05/2018 21:28

Looks fungal

Yes ringworm...could try garlic...crush leave 10 mins and apply a few times a day. Need to crush and leave for 10 mins and then discard. Cleared mine really quickly.

I had something that looked like this a long time ago. It spread over most of my body but not my face. When I went to the Dr he said he thought it was called Lichen Planus. I think it's an auto immune disorder. It lasted one summer and disappeared after that.

Thanks everyone. Have started with canesten cream this morning, hopefully it works.

All the case I’ve seen if ringworm are perfectly circular, which yours isn’t, doesn’t mean it’s not though I guess. Looks a bit like psoriasis to me as hubby has that esp as it’s random places and you are getting more of it. Def get back to GP ASAP x
