Pcos: acute pelvic pain

I’ve got a Doctors appointment, but just wondering is anyone with PCOS has experienced similar. My periods are irregular, but after my last period around mid-cycle I started getting ovulation pains. These grew in strength and are intermittent, so I thought perhaps I have a cyst growing. It has steadily got worse, but comes and goes. Sometimes I cannot bend because the pain is so bad and it radiates into my back, stops me in my tracks and then it goes away. I don’t have any other symptoms and I’m not pregnant. Curious about other people’s experiences of similar while I wait for my appointment next week.

I have very similar symptoms to you and wondered the same thing re a cyst/pcos. I saw the doctor today, I've had blood tests done and she's arranging a scan. Sorry not much help until I get any test results but I think you should ask for the same to rule it out.

Thank you, I will ask. Hope your tests and scan go well. It is very strange as have never had this before, but do recognise it as ovary pain.

Thank you. I've had the pain for a while now but it's got worse as the months go on especially middle and end of my cycle. Drs previously said it was IBS, even though it felt like it was my ovary, dr today seemed a little concerned.
I hope you get sorted!
