Ok my friend has a 6 year old son. He was sleeping in her bed(as they do) and she woke up to him shaking(stiff body), she turned him over and he had white eyes and foam comming out of his mouth, she took him straight to the hospital but he was back to normal by then and the hospital told he was fine and to make an appointment with the GP.

She took him to the GP and he took some bloods which will take up to 2 weeks to get the results.

The little boy was around his friends house and his friend noticed dribble comming down the side of his mouth and ran and told his mum, My friends son said it happenes alot at school and he gets the micky taken out of him for it.

My friend thinks he is attention seeking as they have a new puppy and she thinks he is craving attention

Anyone have any ideas? I thought it was an epaleptic fit(sp?)

If the seizures are subtle, it may be petit-mal fits.

i wouldn't diagnose anything as I'm not a clinician although I would be on the doctors back to ensure all test are carried out .. I'd also look up children seizures online and find out more

a petit-mal fit normally presents as a vacancy though
