Did anyone's dc get a rash after the MMR injection?

If so, what did it look like?

Ds had the vaccine 11dys ago and we were warned that he might be 'off it' and develop a rash about this time. Chicken Pox is also going round his nursery.

Anyway, he was very ratty last night, wouldn't eat his tea or have his milk. Today he has got a rash all over his tummy and back and under his arm pit - it is tiny red spots (actually looks like heat rash) and these showed up this morning and have multiplied but haven't turned angry or anything.

Just wondered if anyone else experienced this with their dc after the vaccine or whether it could possibly turn into chicken pox - or would the spots get much worse after a few hours of having them?

Daughter did about a couple of weeks after mmr but they were only a few scattered over her body and face.

yes my lo had this. was off it for a good couple of weeks. i think chicken pox look more like little blisters? his was def more like a heat rash though after mmr.

Thank you, the rash seems to be calming a little now - mum said it looked like when I had measles so sounds like it is possibly reaction to jab. He is brighter in himself today too.

My dd was exactly the same about 11 days after MMR, really grumpy and covered in rash all over her body. It soon went and she perked up very quickly. I think it was a measly type reaction.
