Another neurotic worrying post from me about dd2. She's had chicken pox, which turned into a chest infection. She got penicillin which she's never had before and started it on friday.

Last night she came out in hives all over tummy - huge ones that merged to one giant blob. This morning she's covered in a red smooth rash - like parts of her have been dipped in pink paint - she's more pink paint than normal skin - all over her legs, her back and tummy and chest. She wouldn't wake this morning - had to actually get her up at 8 - usually its more like half six - but now she's up she's fine in herself.

Could it be a reaction to the penicillin? Although she did start that 4 days ago. Nothing else out of the ordinary, although she's not been well for ages.

Made an appointment to see dr at 11.

Just take her to the appointment at 11, in the mean while keep and eye on her, keep checking her temp - If it goes very high or she becomes drowsy/ limp / incohherant ect then take her to A&E,

xx

hope she feels better soon.
