Coventry hospital

Sorry for stupid post but just trying on the off chance that someone may have local knowledge!

I've been told by GP to go to eye emergency centre, our nearest is at Coventry hospital which opens tomorrow morning.

How bad is the traffic to the hospital? Is it difficult to park? Just so I leave enough time in the morning :-)

I know it well. Parking there is dreadful if I'm being honest. Arrive after 9 am and you will probably have to wait in long queues before you can get into the car park.

Not sure what time eye casualty opens but make sure you give yourself plenty of time.

Traffic can be awful! Before 8.30am you can get in and parked quite easily, by 10am you can queue for 10/15mins for a parking space, sometimes queues from the main road outside the hospital. By 2pm I've previously taken 45mins from the entrance into the hospital grounds to a parking space.

The parking is generally a nightmare but the hospital is fantastic! Hope it goes well tomorrow
