Crying over a broken tooth

Earlier today i bit on something hard. I didn't think anything of it and forgot all about it. Now I have gone to brush my teeth and half dropped into my hand. It's broken vertically. I have quickly jammed in back in but I am worried I might swallow it in my sleep.

I plan to go to the dentist tomorrow. Not sure how my employers will view it.

My question is does anyone know if this can be repaired. I'm really upset as it's my top front tooth.

TIA

Poor you!

About 25 years ago a mate broke both her upper front teeth horizontally in an accident while dancing at her wedding. She had them reattached and the repaired teeth are still working and looking normal.
25 years on the repairs will be even better.

Thank you for your reply. Hope the dentist sees me tomorrow.

Hope you manage to get this sorted. It's really upsetting, I know, but I'm sure it can be fixed. They can do brilliant things with teeth nowadays (I've been researching these things on t'interweb...)

Thank you. Can't sleep because I'm worried I'm going to swallow the broken piece which I pushed back in.

I know I'm being vain but I have milestone events coming up- and I do want to smile in the photos 😁

Can't wait till it's morning- also worried about what work might say to me having the morning off.
