Bone Marrow Transplant

I found out on Friday that I have to have a bone marrow transplant. I'm shitting it!

I've had a lot of operations and medical interventions in the past and am now quite used to things like general anesthetic etc, but this is on a whole different level.

Has anyone been through it? Can you reassure me?

The process is described here:

www.nhs.uk/conditions/stem-cell-transplant/what-happens/

My friend's younger brother went through one, the conditioning sucked and he was bored and miserable through recovery...that was 20 years ago and he's now a 28yo, 6ft4 labrador puppy in human form (the contrast in unbelievable but good grief is he bouncy!).

I hope it goes well for you Flowers
