Laparoscopy recovery?

Hi everyone, I had a lap 2 days ago. They divided a lot of scar tissue and removed some endo.
I will have to have further surgery as there was a bit on my bowel he couldn’t get to as unfortunately wasn’t a endo specialist. But anyway- I am in the process of sorting that out.
Just wondered how long it took you to feel “better”. I can’t notice in difference in pain right now and obviously very tender as this time 48 hours ago I was having it done. I have been moving around and doing bits and bobs. But not up to much.
Wondering how long it took for you to notice a difference?

Thanks xx

I noticed a big difference after 4 days or so, and was feeling better after the first week. I was feeling much better after 2 weeks, but still needed to take ibuprofen and paracetamol a couple times a day. After a month I could sleep in any position comfortably. And after 6 weeks I'm able to walk for several miles, can go up stairs quickly and easily and can generally rush around -- but not 100%, and still feeling some manageable pain. Take it easy, and please don't rush it.

A few days, but you will still have to be careful. I had 2 weeks off work both times, still felt a bit weaker than usual but as long as you aren't heavy lifting it should sort out pretty quick x

4/5 days or so.

7 days i felt a lot better. I'm 10 days now are its tender to bend. But I'm pretty good otherwise. Not needing paracetomol or anything.

Hey I also had a laparoscopy in the same day, hope you feel better soon!

I’m finding it okay, as long as I don’t have to do anything. But I’m not sure how much they removed from me, only spoke to the surgeon in recovery and I was still so out of it, I’m not really sure what was said.
