Earlier today I could feel a slight discomfort when swallowing on the right hand side, felt like I had a bit of food stuck against that side of the throat so I had a look and there is a small lump on that tonsil, it's a bit white but mostly skin/tonsil coloured, got my husband to have a look with his torch on his phone and he said he could see white streaks at the back of both tonsils. It doesn't hurt at all and I don't suffer (touch wood) from throat issues, I've had tonsillitis once at 12 yrs old and I had glandular fever at 17 yrs old, that's it. I do smoke lightly (about 6-7 cigarettes a day). Anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm freaked out that it's mouth cancer!
