Contraceptive pill for PMS.

Has anyone had success with this? Specifically the Yasmin pill? Since I stopped breastfeeding periods have become incredibly painful and my PMS is awful. So tired, depressed, crying and irritated. It’s becoming completely ridiculous. I didn’t want to go back on the pill but will this fix it? I’m scared that while it’s ironing out the bad effects of PMS it will also take away the highs other times of the month. I want to have a lovely life with my children and I don’t want any of the intensity of that love taken away. On the other hand I worry it will become damaging for them to be around me with the PMS. Any experience or advice?

I'm on the depo injections for severe PMT. This really works for me and I've never had a good experience with any contraceptive pill.
