Teeth!

A few months ago I started getting extreme sensitivity on my top left back teeth, to the point where I couldn’t eat or drink anything hot/cold/sweet without getting shooting pains if anything touched them. So I went to the dentist, who replaced a very deep filling in one tooth that she said looked a bit suspicious on the X-ray.

However, I then started to get proper toothache all over the left side of my jaw, even when I wasn’t eating or drinking. So I went back last week, and after testing the top teeth again with some cold stuff she said the sensitivity/pain was coming from another tooth further back, which had a smaller filling. She replaced that as well, and things seemed better for a day or two, but now I’m back to square one with not being able to let anything touch that side, let alone chew on it!

Has anyone experienced similar or got an idea what could be going on here?! The X-ray didn’t seem to show up any other areas of concern, but this is driving me mad!
