Taking the combined pill back to back.

Hi all,

I'm on the combined pill Microgynon and plan on taking them back to back when I'm on holiday so I don't get a period (hopefully).

But once I've finished the second pack, do I just have a seven day break as normal and then take the next pack again like normal?

I'm just not sure based on one site I read, whether I still have an exact 7 day break again afterwards.

Yes you just have the break as normal.

Yes- run the 2 together and then have a 7 day break. I’ve been told I can take it continuously until I have spotting and then have a break- it equates to 3 or 4 bleeds a year.

My dd takes her continuously until she gets breakthrough bleeding then stops for 4 days.
