Suffering really badly with thrush - the only really respite I get is during middle of my period for a day or two, then starts again for 3 weeks or so . Canestan, diflucan etc, don't touch it, nor does natural yog etc!! Read somewhere on here about powders/sachets or something that do wonders, but can't seem to find thread. Any help at all would be gratefully received!!!

Most Durex and Mates no longer have spermicide now, just lubricant.

Diege,

Have you managed to get rid of thrush now ?

I have to do something too as have had recurring thrush for around 7 months, it really starts to get you down !

Is it just refined sugar you need to cut out ?

cut out sugar etc for 6 weeks on anti-candida diet, it went

two glasses of wine - it came back

Oil of oregano is supposed to be excellent for treating thrush - you take it orally for a few months. You can also buy anti-candida homeopathic remedies.Go on the Sunday Times website - alternative health pages - oregano oil will be recommended in there.

You could try grapefruit seed extract
