Ingrown toenail advice

Susanjeffery1984 · 18/04/2018 20:21

I’ve had ingrown toe nails on and off for years but normally manage to treat them myself by cutting a V in the top of the nail.

This time i seem to have missed the window of opportunity for the V to work! It is quite painful and bleeding by doesn’t appear infected at all.

Any tips? I have seen people have them off completely which worries me as I’m pregnant and presumably can’t have an anaesthetic.

You could easily have it sorted under local by a podiatrist and stop it coming back forever.

The quickest thing would probably be to see someone who does them privately.

Yes you can just have a little injection, that is fine. Private podiatrist definitely the way to go.
