Been having chest pain since Thursday, thought it started feeling like costochondritis, which I had a couple of years ago, but the pain is getting worse.

All across top of my chest from shoulder to shoulder, and down underneath my right rib.

I've basically convinced myself its lung cancer. I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow after work.
I'm utterly terrified I'm going to hear something horrible.
I've smoked on and off for about 15 years, average of about 10 a day, I'm 36.

Have I done this to myself?? Shit.

I'm sure it is unlikely to be lung cancer but chest pain ALWAYS warrants urgent medical attention. If you call OOH they will advise. Is anyone with you?

AllYouWantIsHoney · 16/04/2018 21:09

No, no other adult anyway

The pain is through movement really, and felt like this for days

Ok well I still think that you should call for advice. Can someone sit with your hcild if you go out to get checked?

AllYouWantIsHoney · 16/04/2018 21:16

I guess so, but I don't feel breathless or anything, just pain.

Pain through movement is most likely muscular. You’ve done the right thing making a dr appointment, hopefully it will set your mind at rest.

The main pain is under my right breast, can't quite pin point exactly how deep, then across shoulders and neck, centre of chest.
I just feel a wreck

Is this likely to be something serious?
