C section numbness and hard lump

Has anyone else found numbness on their c section scare ? Or a hard lump Area ?

Yes I was pretty hard after mine and I was numb too but now almost all of the feeling has come back and the scar is tiny and not hard any more.

Numbness is pretty common I think, though not so sure about the hard lump... could be some scar tissue I suppose?

The whole area around where I had mine is still numb. I had 2, last was 3 years ago. If there is a lump it could be scarring or how it was stitched up. Mine has a funny bump in it because it was stitched up crooked after my youngest.

The area around my c section scar was numb for four years, then I had another c section and it's still numb 3 years later.

I am not expecting it to improve. I haven't managed to improve the c section overhang either (first pregnancy was twins, which may have led to a bigger, saggier, overhang).

I have two small lumps in the scar where the stitches were a bit funny second time round. After the first one the scar was completely smooth because the surgeon used glue rather than stitches.

I saw a midwife today and she pretty much said the same as you guys all have - but I’m gonna keep an eye on it
