BCG - scab still yucky after 8 weeks

the BCG is a live vaccine, so was expecting healing to be slow, but am worried that the scab is still yucky and not healing. As a result, I worry that DS will be left with a massive scar. I've had it checked out by the health clinic but all they said was it would heal eventually. Any thoughts?

One of my mindees had her scab for that long. I'm sure it was 3 months before I could confidently put her coat on without worrying. She does have a scar, but as she is so young, it will be almost impossible to see in no time.

Thanks for the reassurance. Looked at my medical book last night and it says that after 6 weeks the baby will get a 'pustule' which will eventually heal over. We're obviously going through the 'pustule' phase now - yeuch.
