HPV and pregnancy

Name changed for this.

At my last smear in September, i was found to be positive for high-risk HPV, but no abnormal cells found. I was asked to return for a smear a year later.

I am now 11 weeks pregnant and concerned about missing my next smear. I've not heard about having smears during pregnancy and whether these are actually done or not?

I am aware that HPV is very common and even the high risk strains can just clear up on their own. However, I have been with my partner for almost 9 years so have had the HPV infection for at least 9 years which concerns me as it is evidently not clearing up. I've never had an abnormal smear result which is obviously encouraging but I just can't help but worry!

Anyone been in the same position or able to advise either way?
