Can anyone help with tips for very low/no energy. I'm just so exhausted although I did sleep last night. I need to take the dog for a walk & have been putting it off all mirning because I have no energy at all. This us not normal is it? I'm 50, post menopausal

Could be any number of things - get yourself to the doctors and get tested for iron, b12, vit d, thyroid etc.

How long have you been feeling like this? Did it start after a virus or similar?

But in the meantime, rest as much as possible and don't feel like you should be pushing through.

Is there anyone else who can take the dog out?

I had viral labyrinthitus about 6 weeks ago. Been feeling rubbish since then but nothing as bad as thus weekend. I just want to sleep & everything feels achy, like flu but not iyswim

Labyrinthitis can really take it out of you. Don't push yourself. As others have said get a check up for b12.

Thanks. I'll try & get an appointment at the docs but will probably have to wait a few weeks. My GP is very keen on telephone appointments but for this I'd rather see someone. I feel a bit pathetic not even having enough energy to walk the dog Sad

I can't emphasise how important it is that you rest as much as possible. Believe me, you don't want to have post viral fatigue which can then develop into me/cfs.

Be kind to yourself Flowers

I have pretty much rested all day & still feel exhausted. I feel so wretched. Will call docs tomorrow
