Lump behind belly button

Anybody have experience of a hard lump, about the size of a marble in the abdomen sort of just above and behind the belly button? Google suggests a hernia maybe? It’s not painful at all and I’ve no idea how long I’ve had it, discovered it randomly a couple of months ago and forgot about it, noticed it again yesterday and now unsure if it warrants a GP appt or not, given it’s not bothering me in the slightest. Any opinions?

It may be a hernia developing. You can check by laying flat and coughing. If it raises when you cough it's likely to be one. Probably nothing for concern but I'd go to the GP and check Smile

Thanks Kate that’s a good tip! I’m at work at the moment so would probably get a few raised eyebrows if I stretched out in the floor here but I’ll def check for that when I’m home
